Balls Tournament is a free 3D arena shooter for iOS and Android in which every player is a rolling ball. You steer by tilting the phone, jump, fire, throw grenades and use a knife in five-minute deathmatches against 14 bots or four-minute online matches against real players. It is developed and published by Mayla Software LTD in Bulgaria and has been on the App Store and Google Play since May 2022.

Yes. The download and every mode are free. Optional in-app purchases — a 100-coin pack, a 500-coin pack and a monthly Remove Ads subscription — and optional rewarded videos exist, but every weapon, skin and the shield can be unlocked with coins earned by playing. There is no energy meter and no paywall.

iPhone and iPad on iOS 15.0 or later (one universal app) and Android phones and tablets on Android 13 or later. The game runs in landscape and needs an accelerometer, which every modern phone and tablet has.

About 369 MB on iOS and about 200 MB on Android, mostly textures for the thirteen arenas. Install over Wi-Fi if you can.

12+ on the App Store and Everyone on Google Play. The violence is cartoon-style — balls shooting balls — with no blood, no chat and no user-generated content.

The game is in English. Menus are short and icon-driven, so it is easy to play without reading much.

Tilt the phone to roll — forward accelerates, back brakes, sideways turns. On-screen buttons jump, fire, throw a grenade and use the knife. The full control scheme and tactics are on the how to play page.

Yes. Single player against bots works with no connection at all. Online multiplayer, sign-in and cloud save need the internet.

Fifteen. In single player that is you and 14 bots; online rooms hold up to 15 real players.

No. Online rooms are human-only, so every frag you take online is another person's. Bots live in single player, where you pick their difficulty.

Five: I Can Win, Bring It On, Hurt Me Plenty, Hardcore and Nightmare. They change how much damage bots deal and how aggressively they hunt you. On Nightmare a single hit is lethal.

Thirteen: the original industrial yard, the seasonal arena (desert in summer, snow in winter) and eleven themed arenas — a volcano, a desert town, a golden medina, a radioactive reactor, a night railyard, a rainy park, a skyscraper site, an overgrown exclusion zone, a jungle temple, an Egyptian night and a night-time office. See all thirteen.

Five minutes in single player and four minutes in online rooms. The timer counts down under your health bar and the ball with the most frags when it reaches zero wins.

Rooms are matched automatically and there is no private lobby yet. Joining at the same time usually puts you in the same room.

Four guns — Default (10 damage), Lightning (25), Halo (35) and Supernova (50) — plus grenades (60 splash damage, two-second fuse, three-second cooldown) and a knife (45 damage, two-metre reach). Everyone has the default gun, grenades and the knife; the three heavier guns are bought with coins.

5 coins per frag, 20 for finishing a match, 50 for winning, coins picked up in the arena, a 7-day login streak that grows from 20 to 120 coins a day, and an optional rewarded video worth 50 coins up to five times a day.

Lightning (250), Halo (500) and Supernova (800) weapons, the defence shield (300, halves all bullet damage you take) and four skins: orange (100), green glass (250), neon metal (400) and invisible (800). The whole shop costs 3,400 coins.

It is a monthly auto-renewing subscription that switches off the interstitial ads shown after some matches and the rewarded-video prompts. Manage or cancel it in your Apple ID or Google Play subscriptions like any other subscription.

Use Restore purchases in the shop while signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with. Coins and unlocks come back automatically if you had linked a Google or Apple account under Options ▸ Account.

No. Signing in with Google or Sign in with Apple is optional. It only syncs your coins, unlocked items, purchases and nickname across devices.

Once linked, the game syncs in the background. Coins are merged as a difference rather than overwritten, so playing on two devices adds up instead of one wiping the other. If you are offline the game catches up on the next sync.

Open Options ▸ Account in the game and choose delete; the account and its synced data are removed from Mayla Software's server. Your local progress on the device stays. You can also email [email protected].

The privacy policy has the full list. In short: an advertising identifier for the optional ads, a device identifier for the coin wallet and multiplayer, your nickname if you enter one, purchase history, and the email address of a Google or Apple account if you choose to link one.
